Khattar approves Rs 183.31 cr for construction, improvement of roads

Chandigarh, Sep 19 (UNI) In a bid to further strengthen the road network in Haryana and enhance the convenience of commuters, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Saturday approved spending of Rs 183.31 crore on the construction and improvement of 60 roads and up-gradation of three roads to pavement roads, covering 15 districts.
Thanking Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar for granting administrative approval for these works, Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala said that better road connectivity in the state certainly plays a pivotal role in its development.
Mr Chautala, who also holds the portfolio of Public Works (Building and Roads) Department, said that to ensure this, the state government, from time to time, has taken various steps and will continue to do so in future as well.
