Khandu proposes discussions on issue of Autonomous Councils

Itanagar, Aug 5 (UNI) Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Wednesday proposed for discussions on the issue of Mon Autonomous Council (MAC) and Patkai Autonomous Council (PAC) .
Addressing a press conference here over the matter, Khandu suggested the Demand Committees along with their community based organisations (CBOs), to hold discussions with other CBOs, intellectuals and youth leaders of the state in this regard.
"From state Government side, a panel of Ministers headed by Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein will witness this discussion. As it is a matter of constitution, a panel of legal experts headed by Additional Advocate General will also witness it. It is necessary to have a solution," he said.
