Khan Sir moves for anticipatory bail in Arms Act case

Patna, June 8 (UNI) The famous educator Khan Sir on Monday filed his anticipatory bail petition before Patna Civil court in connection with the case related to the alleged firing resorted by the two security guards of Khan Sir near his coaching institute.
The bail application of Faizal Khan popular as Khan Sir, bearing number 2461/2026 has been filed before the Principal District and Sessions Judge.
The matter would be heard tomorrow. As it is, an FIR bearing number 418/26 was lodged at Kadamkuan police station on June 4 under BNS 109 and 25 (9)/35/27 Arms Act in connection with the firing incident near Khan Global ( Khan G S ) academy.

Kolkata, Jul 10 (UNI) After a prod from the Centre to focus on tourism as one of the main pillars of industry and growth, the West Bengal government's Department of Toursim is preparing a comprehensive tourism industry policy, including cash and non-cash incentives for hotel projects and a standardised policy for homestays and bed-and-breakfast establishments, West Bengal's Tourism Minister Shankar Ghosh announced today.

Bengal: Six-year-old raped for more than a year; Cousin arrested

Kolkata, Jul 10 (UNI) A 27-year-old man working as a sales executive in a private company has been arrested for allegedly raping his six-year-old cousin for over a year.
The police identified the man as Rajib Biswas.
The girl was taken to the RG Kar Medical College and Hospital on Thursday after she complained of pain and discomfort in her private parts to her parents, police sources said.
