KGA to host 11th Sara Futura KGF from Sep 12-15

Bengaluru, Sep 11 (UNI) The Karnataka Golf Association Golf Club is all set to host the 11th Sara Futura Karnataka Golf festival – South India’s largest participative golf tournament presented by Indo-Mim will kick off from September 12-15.
The tournament will also serve as the official qualifiers to the prestigious World Amateur Golfers Championship scheduled to be held in Malaysia this
Along with the top golfers, it will also witness participation of cricketer Karun Nair along with other prominent former cricketers Venkatpathi Raju, S Badrinath, Venkatesh Prasad, Lakshmipathy Balaji and Sujit Somsundar.
Around 500 golfers consisting of more than 100 outstation golfers from cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Pune, Kolhapur, Ramgarh, Kochi, Chennai, Dehradun, Chandigarh, Mysore, Pathankot, Lucknow, Jaipur, Ahmedabad and Kolkata have already confirmed their participation in this illustrious tournament in Bangalore.
The tournament will be played in an individual format and the overall five best net scores from each category (0-5, 6-10, 11-15, 16-20 and 21-24) will get a once in a lifetime opportunity to represent India at one of the largest amateur championships in the world in the four-day- long tournament.
The overall winners will be announced on September 15.
