Kerala: Vande Bharat delays by aroud 3 hrs due to technical fault

Palakkad, Dec 4 (UNI) A Vande Bharat train was delayed by about three hours due to technical issues on Wednesday, forcing railway authorities to provide an additional stop at Angamali railway station as an emergency assistance to the passengers.
A press release issued by Palakkad Divisional railway said, "We deeply regret the inconvenience caused to passengers of Train No 20633 Kasaragod-Thiruvananthapuram Central Vande Bharat Express due to a technical issue that occurred on December four, 2024. We understand the disruption this caused to travel plans and sincerely apologise for the delay in emergency assistance to the passengers."
The train came to a halt shortly after passing Shoranur Junction at 5:50 pm. Despite the immediate efforts of the onboard crew and technical staff, the issue could not be resolved on-site. To avoid disruption to other rail traffic and enable detailed troubleshooting, the train was pulled back to Shoranur Junction at 7:35 pm using an additional locomotive.
