Kerala reports 62 Omicron cases

Thiruvananthapuram, Jan 20 (UNI) Sixty-two more people tested positive to the Omicron variant of Covid-19 on Thursday taking the total cases to 707 in Kerala so far, Health Minister Veena George said.
The Minister said 14 people tested positive in Thrissur, 11 in Kannur, 9 in Pathanamthitta, 8 in Ernakulam, 5 each in Kozhikode and Thiruvananthapuram, 2 each in Kollam, Alappuzha, Palakkad and Kasaragod, 1 each in Idukki.
In addition, one person, hailing from Tamil Nadu, who came from UAE also tested positive, she added.
