Kerala reports 19,325 fresh COVID cases, 143 deaths

Thiruvananthapuram, Sep 18 (UNI) Showing no respite from rising number of covid cases and deaths, Kerala on Saturday reported fresh 19,325 positive cases and 143 deaths.
About 27,266 people have recovered from the disease today, a statement from the health department said this evening.
Meanwhile, 143 recent deaths were confirmed today as due to Covid taking the death toll in the state to 23,439.

Couple commits suicide by hanging
