New Delhi, Sept 19 (UNI) In a reshuffle that was long overdue in the Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC), Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday appointed former Union Minister and veteran leader Mullappally Ramachandran as the new president. He will replace M M Hassan.
First time in Congress's Kerala unit, the Congress High Command appointed three working presidents, a move considered to satisfy the various groups in the state unit.
MLA K Muralidharan has been appointed the chairman of the campaign committee, a party release by general secretary Ashok Gehlot stated.
