Kerala expert highlights strategy on minimizing mother mortality rate at Workshop in GGH

Kakinada, May 3 (UNI) Dr Samarth Ram noted Obstetrician and Gynaecologist from Palaghat in Kerala on Friday said that special strategy evolved by them had yielded good results in their state in minimizing the mother mortality rate (MMR).
Participating in the workshop organised by the government general hospital (GGH) here , Dr Samarth explained in detail about his efforts in reducing the MMR rate and suggested the medical officers in the district to follow the strategy evolved by him.
He explained the process of FSLT-I anti angiogenesis protein removal which causes bleeding due to immune mal adoption resulting in death of mother.
Collector Kartikeya Mishra has called upon the doctors to emulate the medical practices practised in Kerala under the guidance of Dr Samarath Ram for bring down the mother mortality rate.
GGH superintendent Dr Raghavendrarao ,Medical college principal Dr Mahalakshmi and Gynaecology chief Dr Anuradha were among those attended.
