Kerala: Congress president demands to file criminal case against Devaswom Minister Vasavan

Kannur, Feb 14 (UNI) Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) president Sunny Joseph today demanded that a criminal case be filed against Devaswom Minister V N Vasavan and the Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB) over alleged embezzlement, forgery and breach of trust in the Global Ayyappa Sangamam held at Pamba on September 20, 2025.
Addressing a press conference at DCC office here, Joseph described the alleged fraud as "serious as the Sabarimala gold heist" and claimed there were major discrepancies between audited figures and the amounts cited by the Minister and the TDB.
"If the Minister is honest, he should resign. He cannot escape by shifting blame," he said.
