Thiruvananthapuram, Jul 9 (UNI) Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Thursday cautioned the people of the State to be alert against a possible community spread.
Addressing a press conference at the Government Secretariat this evening, the Chief Minister said “We are facing the most critical stage of Covid outbreak now. This is a time for concern as we may be near the cusp of a community spread in the State.”
"The outbreak of the disease in a fish market has resulted in the triple lockdown of the entire Thiruvananthapuram city. The analysis of the present situation shows that the outbreak has spread to different parts of the city. There is a similar situation in Aryanad also, in Thiruvananthapuram district. This can happen in other places also like Kochi," he added.
