Kerala CM urges PM to reduce air fares

Thiruvananthapuram, July 3 (UNI) Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Sunday wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi seeking his intervention to reduce exorbitant air fares in both domestic and international sectors.
Seeking the Prime Minister's attention in this issue which is adversely impacting the travel industry and putting Non-Residents to extreme hardship, he said Air fares in both the International and Domestic sectors have become exorbitantly high recently.
He requested PM Modi's immediate personal intervention in this matter so as to alleviate the difficulties of non-Residents and to help the tourism sector, the revival of which is vital for the state's economy.
