Ken-Betwa river inter-linking project will start this year: Uma Bharti

New Delhi, Jan 13 (UNI) Union Minister for Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation Uma Bharti today said under the ambitious inter-linking of river project, work on the Ken-Betwa link will start this year and she has requested the Finance Ministry to change the fund allocation system in this regard.
Speaking at the inauguration of Jal Manthan - III here, Ms Bharti said all works related to the Ken-Betwa link have been completed and the Environment Ministry had also given its go ahead to the project.
She said that her Ministry was working with NITI Aayog to see the funding pattern for the ambitious
