Kejriwal promises action against those responsible for killing of tribal youth in Goa

Panaji, Aug 21 (UNI) Lamenting about the atrocities against the tribals across the country, Aap Aadmi Party National Convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal today promised that said action would be taken against those responsible for killing of two tribal youth in 2011 in Goa.
Addressing a meeting of tribal people at Quepem village in South Goa, around 50 km from here, Mr Kejriwal said, ''Police action was taken to suppress the voice of tribal people. This happens when government is against the backward people. This can be seen in Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh. In Andhra Pradesh Rohit Vemula was forced to commit suicide.''
Two tribal youth --Manguesh Gaonkar and Dilip Velip --were burnt alive at Balli village during an agitation in 2011. The agitation was for implementation of tribal rights by the United Tribal Association Alliance.
