New Delhi, Feb 15 (UNI) AAP national convener and Delhi Chief Minister-designate Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday called his six Cabinet Ministers-designate for a dinner meeting at his residence, ahead of his swearing-in as Delhi Chief Minister on Sunday.
A party official said in the meeting there was discussion on priority initiatives and action items for
Delhi government in the coming three months.
The meeting focused on developing a roadmap for making Delhi a 21st century Global City.
In a tweet, Mr Kejriwal said, 'Hosted my Delhi Cabinet designate colleagues for dinner at my residence. Congratulated them on their victory in the election and wished them success for their terms as Ministers in the Delhi govt.'
Six Cabinet Ministers-designate--Manish Sisodia, Satyendar Jain, Gopal Rai, Kailash Gehlot, Imran Hussain, and Rajendra Pal Gautam were present in the dinner meeting. All of them had earlier also served as Cabinet ministers in the previous AAP government.
Mr Kejriwal will take over the reins as the Delhi Chief Minister for the third term at the historic Ramlila Maidan on Sunday morning.
Along with Mr Kejriwal, the six Delhi cabinet ministers-designate will take their oath as ministers.
The 51-year-old erstwhile Indian Revenue Service officer will be sworn in as Delhi Chief Minister for the third consecutive time. The ceremony is scheduled for 1000 hours.
Kejriwal-led AAP virtually swept the February 8 Assembly polls by winning 62 of 70 seats, reducing the Bharatiya Janata Party to eight. Indian National Congress candidates forfeited their deposits in nearly all the constituencies.
