New Delhi, Apr 14 (UNI) Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday asked the Centre to open Covid-19 vaccines for the journalists as they are reporting from most adverse situations.
"Journalists are reporting from most adverse situations. They shud be treated as frontline workers and shud be allowed vaccination on priority. Delhi govt is writing to centre in this regard (sic)," Mr Kejriwal wrote on his official Twitter account.
As per the guidelines framed by the Centre, healthcare and frontline workers and people above 45 years of age are eligible for inoculation of Covid-19 vaccines in the ongoing nationwide vaccination programme which began from mid of January this year.
