Kaveri Seeds net profit up by 8.72 pc in Q1 FY '19-20

Hyderabad, Aug 14 (UNI) The Net Profit of Kaveri Seeds Company Limited for the first quarter in the current fiscal 2019-20 stood at Rs 228.93 crore, up by 8.72 per cent year-on-year.

The Board of Directors of the Company has approved the financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2019 at a meeting held in Secunderabad on Tuesday.



A Company statement on Wednesday said that the company’s sales have been increased from Rs 581.89 crore in Q1 FY2018-19 to Rs 655.46 crore in Q1 FY 2019-20.





Operational EBITDA margin was up by 68 basis points and other income component was low compared to previous corresponding quarter, the statement added.
