Kathua Police arrests three in IPL betting, manhunt for others

Jammu, Oct 20 (UNI) Tightening noose against IPL betting, police have arrested three persons and launched a manhunt for those absconding in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Senior Superintendent of Police, Kathua Shailendra Mishra here on Tuesday said that several complaints were being received regarding involvement of youth into the illegal trade of IPL betting on the pretext of doubling their money by the bookies.
"Acting swiftly on these complaints, special teams were constituted and raids were carried in many hideouts," said the top cop.
