Kashmir unrest: Dr Karan, Guv discuss steps required to restore peace

Srinagar, Sep 2 (UNI) Senior Congress leader and Member of Parliament Karan Singh the met Governor N N Vohra and discussed steps required to be taken to restore peace and normalcy in Kashmir, where the ongoing unrest has left 72 civilians dead and over 6000 others injured since July 9.
An official spokesperson here this evening said that Dr Singh met Mr Vohra at the Raj Bhavan here.
He said the Governor and Dr Singh discussed issues relating to the prevailing unrest.
