Kashmir shutdown enters sixth week

Srinagar, Sep 16 (UNI) Business and daily life activities remained paralysed in the valley as Kashmir shutdown entered sixth week on Monday, since the Centre abrogated Article 370 on August 5, restricting under Section 144 CrPC the assembly of four or more people .
According to officials, "barring stray incidents of stone pelting causing damages to vehicles in both downtown and uptown, the situation was by and large peaceful in the Valley.
"There is no curfew restriction in any part of the valley today," they said.
