Srinagar, Oct 25 (UNI) Warm cloth are out due to chilly winds coupled with cloudy sky in the Kashmir valley, where isolated to scattered rain and snow is predicted on Sunday which will be followed by dry weather from tomorrow till end of this month.
A Met department spokesman said there could be isolated rain, snow and thundershowers in Kashmir valley and Gilgit-Baltistan in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK) today. However, he said, weather will remain dry from Monday till end of this month.
The sky was cloudy, coupled with icy cold winds in the Kashmir valley today, where majority people could be seen wearing sweaters and other warm cloths. People could be seen purchasing warm cloths besides blankets from the market. However, people alleged that prices of coal which is used in the Kashmir “Kangri” for heating purpose has gone high as there is no checking from the authorities.
