Karnataka terror probe: Pak handler asked youth to form 50-60 member network, promised funding

Bengaluru, June 8 (UNI) A Karnataka Police investigation into an alleged terror-linked online radicalisation network has revealed that a Pakistan-based handler allegedly instructed two arrested youths to recruit 50-60 members, establish an organised network, provide training and promised financial assistance to expand operations in India, according to investigators.
According to police sources, the handler, identified as "Rana", allegedly radicalised the accused through Instagram and other social media platforms before steering conversations from religious discussions to extremist and provocative content.
Investigators said the accused were asked to recruit more youths, organise them into a network and provide training based on directions received from the handler.
