Karnataka temples ordered to use Nandini ghee for 'prasadam' : Minister

Bengaluru, Sep 20 (UNI) In a bid to quell growing public concerns, Karnataka Transport and Muzrai Minister R Ramalinga Reddy has issued a sweeping directive to all state-run temples to exclusively use Nandini ghee for preparing ''prasadam'' and meals.
The move follows startling allegations that the revered Tirupati laddus, a sacred offering in neighbouring Andhra Pradesh, may have contained animal fat.
This controversy has sparked widespread outrage, with devotees questioning the sanctity of temple offerings.
