Karnataka registers 2,738 COVID-19 cases

Bengaluru, Jul 14 (UNI) Karnataka witnessed another surge of fresh cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday, as another highest number of 2,738 persons were detected for contracting the dreaded virus taking the total number of tested positive to 44,077.
The Death toll due to the COVID-19 disease also rose to 842 as 87 more persons succumbed to death on Tuesday.
There were 25,839 active cases in the state, and as many as 540 patients have got admitted into the ICU's in various hospitals,while rest were in moderate condition including those who had displayed only mild or no symptoms at all.
