Bengaluru, Apr 1 (UNI) The Karnataka High Court today served a notice to Bidadi police over the application filed by Kampli MLA J N Ganesh who was arrested last month on the charges of physically attacking his fellow Legislator Anand Singh in a resort three months ago.
The single bench judge Justice B A Patil took up the application on Monday and ordered serving notice to Bidadi police who had arrested the Legislator and later a lower court had rejected him the bail. Further hearing on the application was posted for April 8.
He has been lodged in the Parappana Agrahara Central jail. Following the assault Ganesh had gone missing for over a month and later surrendered before the police.
