Bengaluru, Aug 17(UNI) There is no any proposal to alter the previous government’s most populist scheme Anna Bhagya, Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa clarified on Saturday.
According to a statement issued from CM's office, the Chief Minister strongly denied that there was any plans to prune the Anna Bhagya Scheme, in which the state government is giving 7 kilos of rice at free of cost to BPL families.
“The State government has no plans to stop any pro-people scheme including Anna Bhagya”, the release said.
