Karnataka government for revial of defunct Falcon Tyres Ltd in Mysuru

Bengaluru, Feb 15 (UNI) Karnataka Minister for Large and Medium Scale Industries K J George said on Friday that the State government will make all out efforts to revive the defunct Falcon Tyres limited in Mysuru and ensure the livelihood of all employees are protected.

The Ministry of Large & Medium Scale Industry, Karnataka, as part of its initiative to revive the ailing Falcon Tyres Limited, Mysuru, convened a high level meeting on Friday.
Mr George took suggestions from the concerned departmental officials and employees representatives on the practical steps that could be implemented for the revival of the once reputed Tyre manufacturing industry.

Ministers G T Devegowda, SA RA Mahesh, Concerned department officials and employees’ representatives were present at the meeting.

The meeting which was aimed at discussing the rejuvenation of Falcon Tyres Limited, contemplated several strategies on how the company could be revived as there are around 2,500 employees working in the company. The primary objective of the meeting was to explore how the livelihood of employees could be secured.
