Karnataka: Confusion over bitcoins, drugs scam probe

Bengaluru, Oct 28 (UNI) A serious confusion has cropped up due to the differing statements of Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai and Home Minister Araga Janendra over the probe update of bitcoin and drugs scam, which Congress leader Siddaramaiah yesterday had referred to.
"The state level investigations are over. We have handed over the case to ED and CBI. No one will be spared. Action will be taken against the guilty," he told reporters.
On the other hand, Jnanendra said: "The investigation is not being conducted by regular police, but by our CoD. There is no question of saving anybody. Even if police, BJP or Congress leaders are involved, they all will be held and punished."
