Karnataka Assembly to take up Confidence motion on Thursday; Supreme Court hearing on Tuesday

Bengaluru/New Delhi, Jul 15 (UNI) Karnataka Assembly Spreaker KR Ramesh Kumar on Monday announced that the JD(S)-Congress government would face the confidence motion on the floor of the house on Thursday, July 18.
Karnataka has been in the throes of a crisis after the HD Kumarswamy government had apparently been reduced to minority with the resignation of rebel MLAs.
Speaker said that the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) of the House, chaired by him met on Monday, and decided to take up the confidence motion to be moved by the Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy.
