Kankaria joyride accident: Court rejects bail pleas of all six accused

Ahmedabad, Jul 23 (UNI) A local court here on Tuesday rejected the bail plea of the six persons arrested in connection with the joy-ride accident in Kankaria Lake Front on July 14 in which two persons including a lady died and over 20 injured.
The court accepted the argument of government counsel S Brahambhatt that the accused were operating the ride without being qualified for that and also that if they were granted bail they could tamper the evidences. One of the accused and so called engineer Yash Patel was not having any engineering degree.
Chirag Patel, Assistant Manager of Kankaria Lake Front had filed complaint in Maninagar police station against six persons in connection with the accident.
