Kangra schools to get Rs 3.71 cr for additional rooms

Kangra, Aug 14 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh government will renovate and construct additional rooms in 173 schools in this district at the cost of Rs 3.71 crore during the current financial year.
This was stated by Urban Development, Housing and Town and Country Planning Minister Sarween Chaudhary while addressing a public meeting at Banala where she laid foundation stone of additional two rooms of Govt Primary School Banala to be constructed at the cost of Rs 6.30 lakhs.
She said that state government was constructing as per the requirement additional rooms in different schools. She said that Rs 42 lakhs will be spent on construction and renovation of rooms of the schools in the Educational Block Rait, which falls in her constituency.
