Kangra schools to get Rs 3.71 cr for additional rooms

Kangra, Aug 14 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh government will renovate and construct additional rooms in 173 schools in this district at the cost of Rs 3.71 crore during the current financial year.
This was stated by Urban Development, Housing and Town and Country Planning Minister Sarween Chaudhary while addressing a public meeting at Banala where she laid foundation stone of additional two rooms of Govt Primary School Banala to be constructed at the cost of Rs 6.30 lakhs.
She said that state government was constructing as per the requirement additional rooms in different schools. She said that Rs 42 lakhs will be spent on construction and renovation of rooms of the schools in the Educational Block Rait, which falls in her constituency.
Ms Chaudhary said that DPR of Banala – Rulard road reconstruction, a project of Rs 12 crore has been submitted for the approval before the government. She said that 90 per cent construction work of Health sub center building at Banala, a project of Rs 15.4 lakhs has been completed. She said that the remaining work will be completed shortly.
The Minister said that additional funds of Rs five lakhs have been released for the construction of road for Hardaiyee Mata Mandir. She said that Rs one lakh was spent on the Bhanala Mela ground and additional Rs 1.5 lakhs has been sanction for this ground. She said that two 100 KV transformers will be installed at Chowri Bhanala and Dehrian Rehloo at the cost of Rs 2.75 lakhs.
She said that Rs 8.20 lakhs will be spent on different power development works in the Banala area. She said that DPR of Saranki Kul a project of Rs 8.65 crore has been submitted for the approval and this project will provide irrigation facilities to 19 villages of her constituency.

Rajgarh, MP, Jan 22 (UNI) Amidst Madhya Pradesh’s opposition Bharatiya Janata Party bigwigs’ presence at a demonstration against the “attitude” of the Collector and other administrative officials in Biaora, erstwhile minister Badrilal Yadav’s statement sparked off fresh controversy.
While addressing the gathering, the politician accused the lady Collector of supporting ruling Congress workers while turning Nelson’s eye to their saffron counterparts and unleashed an insulting remark that went viral in social media. Subsequently, Congress leaders adopted a belligerent stance by placing the BJP in the crosshairs and saying that the objectionable comment humiliated entire womanhood.

Biaora incident snowballs as Vijayvargiya warns MP govt

Rajgarh, MP, Jan 22 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party General Secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya on Wednesday warned Madhya Pradesh’s Congress dispensation that it would have to pay the price if it took saffron camp workers lightly.
The words were spoken in Biaora where the politician was addressing a BJP public meeting organised in protest against the “attitude” of the Collector and other administrative officials. Among those present were erstwhile chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, BJP state President Rakesh Singh and the Assembly’s Leader of the Opposition Gopal Bhargava.

Biaora incident: MPHC issues notices

Indore, MP, Jan 22 (UNI) The Madhya Pradesh High Court on Wednesday directed issuance of notices – seeking responses in a period not exceeding four weeks – to the Chief Secretary, Principal Secy (Home), Rajgarh Collector, Superintendent of Police and Deputy Collector in connection with the Biaora town “incident” wherein administrative officials “misbehaved” with a political party’s workers.
Justices SC Sharma and S Shukla heard a public interest petition submitted by a Rajgarh District-resident advocate.
