Kangra left out as four Himachal SHGs receive drones under central scheme

Dharamshala, Feb 11 (UNI) Under the Centre-sponsored ‘Namo Drone Didi’ scheme, four Self Help Groups (SHGs) in Himachal Pradesh have been provided with drones, but none of the beneficiary groups are from Kangra district.
Union Minister of State for Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Ram Nath Thakur informed the Rajya Sabha of this in a written reply to MP Indu Bala Goswami.
The minister further informed that the Central government has made a budgetary provision of Rs 1,261 crore for supplying drones to Self Help Groups during the financial years 2023–24 and 2025–26.

Haryana battles massive storm damage
