Kangra Carnival provides a strong platform to folk culture and traditions: Mukesh Agnihotri

Dharamshala, Dec 24 (UNI) The cultural evening organised during the Kangra Valley Carnival mesmerised the audience with soulful blends of music, humour and vibrant folk traditions. The festive atmosphere was further enlivened by the captivating performance of Kerala-based band Thaikkudam Bridge, which left the crowd spellbound on the opening evening.

Adding a distinct local flavour, shehnai players from Khaniyara in the Dharamshala region presented melodious renditions on traditional instruments, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Himachal Pradesh. Performances by various bands and cultural troupes further added to the grandeur of the carnival.
