Puducherry, Aug 7 (UNI) Puducherry Welfare Minister M Kandasamy and his son Vignesh who were tested positive for COVID-19 a week ago were discharged on last night, sources said on Friday.
The father-son duo was admitted at JIPMER and showed very mild symptoms of the disease.
They have been advised home isolation, sources said.
Mr Kandasamy's mother is still at the hospital.
Meanwhile, Mr Madhusudhan Rao, private secretary to Health Minister Malladi Krishna Rao tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday and was admitted to the government medical college.
