Kalka Mail divided in two parts due to breaking of coupling: probe ordered

Kaushambi, Jan 12(UNI)A major train accident was averted today when the coupling of the Delhi bound 12311 UP Howrah-Kalka Mail broke down near Atsarai railway station under North-Central railways.
The train which was running on a slow speed was divided in two parts and seven coaches along with the engine went 500 meters ahead. Later, the engine and the coaches were brought back to attach the remaining 16 coaches.
Though none was injured in the incident, but unofficial report said a youth traveling in the general coach received minor injuries due to jerk.
