Kalam and Kavach 3.0 to drive India’s defence innovation from policy to action

Bengaluru, Feb 19 (UNI) India’s leading defence strategic dialogue, Kalam & Kavach 3.0, is scheduled for 14–15 April 2026 in New Delhi, with Raksha Mantri Rajnath Singh, the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), Service Chiefs, the Chairman of the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), and senior Ministry of Defence officials in attendance.
The event aims to advance outcome‑oriented engagement across India’s defence establishment and accelerate implementation of priority defence initiatives.
The 2026 edition builds on the momentum of Kalam & Kavach 2.0, widely recognised as a pivotal forum for defence reforms, and intends to translate strategic policy direction into executable pathways. Key agenda items include joint theatre commands, AI‑driven and data‑enabled warfighting, emerging defence doctrines, and deeper collaboration with industry partners.
