Kakinada Joint Collector distributes artificial limbs to disabled

Kakinada, June 29 (UNI) Kakinada district joint Collector Ilakkiya has distributed artificial limbs and wheel chairs to the disabled at a function held at the Uma educational and technical society office at Vakalapudi on the city outskirts on Wednesday .
She has complimented the UTI Infrastructure technology and services limited (UTIITSL) organization for providing the tricycles, artificial legs, wheelchairs and hearing aids to 38 disabled people as a part of the community welfare project.
The Joint collector also appreciated SP Reddy Executive director Uma educational and technical society for extending rehabilitation to several disabled people .

Madras HC stays IT proceedings against actor Vijay

the Madras High Court today granted an interim stay on the Income Tax
department's proceedings initiated against him imposing Rs 1.5 crore
penalty for not disclosing an income of Rs 15 crore while filing returns
for the assessment year 2016-2017.
