Kagal sub-divisional office clerk trapped in ACB net

Kolhapur, Jul 6 (UNI) A clerk, working in Kagal-Radhanagari sub-divisional office, was arrested on Monday by the Anti-Corruption Bureau while allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs 1.20 lakh from a complainant.
The alleged accused, Sagar Anandrao Shirgaonkar (38), resident of Ravivar peth of the city, who was working at sub-divisional office in Kagal-Rashanagari tehsil of the district, had demanded Rs 1.20 as bribe for regularising the land of the complainant, an official release issued by ACB said here.
Reluctant to pay the bribe, complainant informed about the same to the city unit of ACB, whose team laid a trap at Shirgaonkar's office and caught him red-handed while accepting the bribe money from the complainant, it added.
