K'taka: Kundapur, Lalitambika Guest House to be made Covid-19 hospitals

Kundapur, Jun 3(UNI) Kundapur taluk hospital and Lalitambika Guest House at Kollur will be soon converted into COVID-19 hospital due to increase in number of Covid-19 cases in the District, Deputy Commissioner G Jagadeesha said on Wednesday.
Mr Jagadeesha said that ''the decision to convert the taluk hospital into full-fledged COVID-19 hospital was taken as there is a need of 400 beds in the taluk. However, 120 beds are already arranged in taluk hospital and 60 beds in Adarsh hospital.''
''The Taluk hospital will be shifted to Kota hospital along with pregnant women and those who have just delivered their babies. The outpatient department will be shifted to Old Vinay hospital.''
