K'taka CM to look into ragging case: Chennithala

Kozhikode, Jun 25 (UNI) Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah today assured to look into the brutal ragging of a Dalit student hailing from Kerala in Gulbarga nursing college last month.
This assurance was given to Kerala Opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala who had a telephonic conversation with the Chief Minister after visiting the 19-year Ashwathi, undergoing treatment in Kozhikode Medical College.
Mr Siddaramaiah had also assured protection of other Keralites studying in Al Qamar nursing college, he said.
