K'taka CM asks district in-charge ministers to take precautionary measures in flood affected areas

Bangaluru, Aug 6 (UNI) Chief Minister B S Yeddiyurappa on Thursday directed all the district in-charge ministers in the flood affected areas to take precautionary measures after heavy rains lashed the state in the last two days.
The statement issued by the CMO, said that Yediyurappa has asked "District-in-charge ministers of flood-hit districts to remain in their districts," and asked them to take a call on any work related to emergencies.
The district-in-charge ministers should visit flood-hit regions of the state and distribute relief to the affected people and funds will be released for the same, he added.
