K Surendran takes charge as Kerala BJP head

Thiruvananthapuram, Feb 22 (UNI) K Surendran, who took charge as Kerala BJP President on Saturday, was given a rousing reception on his arrival at the party headquarters by the party workers.
K Surendran, who reached at the Central railway station, was given a grand reception by BJP workers who received him with placards and flowers. Later, he left to the party headoffice on an open jeep accompanied by hundreds of party workers on two wheelers.
BJP national secretary H Raja and Union Minister of the State for External Afffairs V Muraleedharan, party MLA O Rajagopal, party State General Secretaries AN Radhakrishnan and MT Ramesh, District President VV Rajesh, all former state presidents, except Kummanam Rajasekharan, and other party leaders also attended the function.
