Junior women’s hockey team to tour UK for seven-match series in July

New Delhi, June 17 (UNI): India’s junior women’s hockey team will tour the United Kingdom from July 5 to 14 for a seven-match campaign, including two fixtures against Scotland’s senior women’s side. The team will also take on the England Under-21, USA U-21 and Belgium U-21 teams during the tour.
The assignment will be the first major international outing under newly appointed Australian coach Tim White and forms a key part of India’s preparations for upcoming international competitions.
India will begin the tour in Edinburgh with back-to-back matches against Scotland’s senior women’s team at the Peffermill Playing Fields, University of Edinburgh, on July 5 and 6.
