New Delhi, Apr 19 (UNI) Hailing the Supreme Court’s verdict, dismissing the a series of petitions seeking a fair probe in the death of Justice Loya, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Thursday said that the judiciary cannot be misled by allegation based on the political vendetta.
Through twitter messages, Mr Singh said that SC’s ruling also raised serious questions on the intention of filing such PILs.
“The Supreme Court has also cautioned against the misuse of courts in political tug of war. The SC verdict gives a clear message that the judiciary cannot be misled by allegations based on political vendetta”, he further said in his tweet.
Without naming Congress Party, the Home Minister came down heavily on the several attempts to target Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders with fake facts.” It was extremely unfortunate that there have been several attempts of targeting and assassinating the character of its top leaders on the basis of ‘fake facts’. These attempts have failed miserably once again”, he said in his tweet.
On Thursday, the Apex court dismissed all petitions seeking a fair enquiry into the death of Judge Brijgopal Harikishan Loya.
