Jr Bachchan hints playing charity Kabaddi match with B-town celebs

New Delhi, Jan 21 (UNI) With the growing popularity of Pro-Kabadi League, Bollywood actor and owner of Pink Panther Kabadi team Abhishek Bachchan today announced to organise a charity Kabaddi match with his friends in B-wood industry. Launching the third edition of the cash-rich league here, the actor said, "I am very passionate for sports and Kabaddi is a diret physical contact game which demand lots of physical strength. "Kabadi is India's own sport and we are trying our best to promote the game as much as possible and if with my efforts, world would take the sport seriously I would be the happiest person. "I find it exciting to support games that need development in India, If change come then I would love to be the agent between the world and sports," Jr Bachchan further said. Sharing his experience during the shoot of his upcoming movie 'Housefull 3' the actor revealed, "During the shoot of 'Housefull 3', me along with Akshay Kumar and Ritesh Deshmukh used to play Kabaddi on the sets. In fact, many of my friends from the industry plays Kabaddi." Recalling the days of his childhood when he used to play Kabaddi with his father and Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek said the sport has been his favourite since then. "I saw Paa playing Kabbadi in one of his films 'Ganga Ki Saugand' and asked him about it, and it was then he took me out and we began playing Kabaddi," he said. "Seeing the kind of sportsmanship among the Kabaddi players, I decided to be part of it. It is my honour to spend time with athletes. These guys have immense respect for each other. They share joy and happiness. "I do two movies a year and spend my earning over my teams. This way, it is rewarding for me," he added. Riding on the massive success of its two seasons so far, the Pro Kabaddi League is all set to storm stadiums and television screens across India with its third edition beginning January 30.
