JPC on Waqf board to visit Bihar on November 12

Patna, Nov 08 (UNI) Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) on the Waqf Board Amendment Bill will visit Bihar on November 12 to seek the opinion of various bodies of the Hindu and Muslim community, common man, and other stakeholders.
President of Rastriya Samajik Nyaya Morcha Upendra Chauhan said here that altogether 25 associations of Hindu community were interested to place their views before the JPC on the issue of Waqf board amendment bill 2024. Secretary of Mahaveer Mandir Trust Kishor Kunal and office bearers of Vishwa Hindu Parishad were among those who would place their views before the JPC, he added.
" Properties of the Hindu community who left Pakistan during partition were taken over by Muslims there, so properties of Muslims who left India, should also be taken over by Hindus or Government of India", Chauhan advocated and demanded dissolution of Waqf board. There was no need for such bodies in India, he pointed out.
