JPC on Office of Profit not to probe MLAs

Shimla, Jun 25 (UNI) Joint Parliamentary Committee probing misuse of Office of Profit clause by the members of Parliament today made it clear that it would not probe or look into the missus of office of profit clause by members of legislative assembly.
This was stated by 14 members JPC constituted by Parliament to probe the missus of office of Profit by the members of Parliament under the chairmanship of BJP MP P P Chauhary as Committee was on a five-day visit to Himachal Pradesh to find out the office and post held by the members of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha in the state government.
Mr Chaudhary said the committee would handover its report to the Parliament within the stipulated five year term and it is up to Parliament to take call on JPC findings.
