Journalists work with a sense of nationalism: Manipur CM Biren

Imphal, Jan 6 (UNI) Manipur Chief Minister N. Biren Singh said on Thursday most journalists work with pride with a sense of nationalism and to serve the people.
Speaking during the 47th Foundation Day Celebration of Manipur Press Club, at Press Club, Majorkhul, here, the CM said journalists occupy a very special place in the society.
Expressing satisfaction on the role played by media, the Chief Minister also stated that the media played a key role in disseminating the activities that were taken up by his government for the welfare of the state during his tenure.

Itanagar, Oct 13 (UNI) In line with India’s commitment to eradicate Tuberculosis (TB) by 2025, Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt General (Retd) KT Parnaik has adopted two TB patients each from Kamle and Upper Subansiri districts as part of the Ni-Kshay Mitra initiative under the Pradhan Mantri TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan. He has already adopted two patients each from Kra Daadi, Siang, and West Siang districts, officials said on Sunday.
