Johnson, Merkel to hold bilateral meeting in early 2020, says Johnson's spokesperson

London, Dec 14 (UNI) UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson's spokesperson on Friday said that Mr Johnson would meet German Chancellor Angela Merkel in early 2020 to hold a bilateral meeting to strengthen the ties between the two countries.
A day after Mr Johnson's Conservative Party won UK general election, both the leaders held a telephonic conversation.
"The leaders also spoke about the importance of building on the strong relationship between their two countries and looked forward to meeting again in person soon," the Sputnik quoted the spokesperson as saying.
