Johannesburg, Jan 24 (UNI) Team India skipper Virat Kohli won the toss and opted to bat first against South Africa in the final third Test of the three-match rubber against South Africa at the New Wandrers stadium here on Wednesday.
The visitors have made two changes in their side with Ajinkya Rahane coming in for Rohit Sharma while pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar comes in for Ravichandran Ashwin on a wicket naturally helpful for seamers.
The hosts, on the other hand, made one change in their playing eleven as all-rounder Andile Phehlukwayo coming in for lef-arm spinner Keshav Maharaj.
While Kohli's men will be desperate for a win to salvage pride, the Proteans, who have already sealed the series 2-0, are eyeing to make a clean sweep against the no. 1 Test side.
